Baskerville Architects was founded over fifteen years ago and are registered with ARB - Architects Registration Board. Based in central London, the studio includes a small committed team of talented designers and offers a full range of professional design and management services which can be fully tailored to suit the requirements of every project.

Meet the Team
James Baskerville
Architect
James started his architectural career designing exquisitely detailed Buddhist temples. He then worked for many years in high profile, London-based architectural practices.

James Baskerville has been involved with several award-winning, educational and civic buildings, most notably the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, Coventry University Library, and the School of Slavonic Studies in UCL.
James set up his own interdisciplinary practice fifteen years ago and has since developed a broad portfolio covering highest quality projects of all scales.
Alongside architectural practice, James has been a teacher of meditation and mindfulness for over twenty years.
ALAN MILIKEN
Architect
Alan has over 10 years of architectural experience in London, where he has worked on an extensive range of projects from universities to bespoke furniture.

For the past 6 years Alan’s focus has concentrated mainly on high-end residential design, developing a strong portfolio of work with Baskerville Architects.
Having studied in Caracas and Rome at the UCV and Sapienza respectively, he has worked with Jesus Tenreiro-Degwitz, Allies and Morrison and Clementine Blakemore amongst others to build a strong architectural background.
Vaida Jankauskaite
Interior Designer
Vaida started her career working for an award-winning international company based in Malaysia and went on to design for high end properties in London and France.

Vaida is a designer with a mastery over aesthetics cultivated from her early days in art school, a further degree in interior design and extensive field experience.
Unlike many interior designers, Vaida is also proficient in structural and technical elements such as bespoke joinery having spent three years working in construction. This background gives her a unique overview of each project helping her clients avoid hidden fees or issues with contractors.
John Paul Fraser
Designer & Project Manager
John Paul has worked internationally with several award-winning architects. He is an accomplished designer with a portfolio of architecture, interior and furniture design.

As the director of his own design and project management company for over ten years, John Paul has accumulated a wealth of experience in one of the most challenging aspects of the design process - translating exceptional design into reality.
John Paul has specialised in managing the design, local authority planning, finance, and construction of many exceptionally high quality residential developments in and around London.
John Paul’s passion is the use and development of sustainable technologies. He has completed a number of his own development projects utilising groundbreaking new sustainable technologies of European companies looking to showcase their work in the UK.
